Paediatric eye exam
It is important that changes in children’s vision are detected as early as possible. Myopia, also known as near-sightedness is a common vision condition in children. Other conditions that could affect children’s vision are amblyopia and binocular vision.
Seeing a colourful world
There are many reasons that can cause colour vision deficiency including medication and systemic conditions such as diabetes and multiple sclerosis.
However, the most common cause is genetic and people with colour vision deficiency are often found to have variations in the genes that are responsible for producing normal colour sensing retina cells.
